Verified ReviewerThe CFPB didn't do it's job
The 2022 White House had the 2022 FTC file a complaint against the 2022 CFPB with the 2022 CFPB.Cases were opened up. The agency didn't change its behavior.
The 2022 CFPB is protecting & enabling the 5 banks bad behavior.I requested to be told were the deposits & loan payoffs the 5 banks kept are. Not one bank has answered that question. The 2022 CFPB isn't making the banks answer that question either. The 2022 CFPB has proof the 5 banks reported to it knowingly lied to judges faces, it hasn't done anything about that. Lying to judges is a felony.
The agency has proof of the damage the 2017 CFPB choosing not to do its job did to me personally & the United States economy. The 2022 CFPB hasn't done anything about that. The 2022 CFPB has the ability to make the bad acting banks make things right.Instead of doing that, the agency is passing notes back & fourth.I have sent everything to the Department of Justice Fraud Section. It can see what each of the 5 banks did. It can see the 2022 CFPB looking the other way.
The 2022 CFPB is a United States government agency that is enabling White Collar crime & protecting the ones committing it.The 2022 CFPB's own actions say the agency isn't on the same side as consumers.Any positive stories in the news involving the 2022 CFPB should be completely disregarded. The agency is trying to save face. The 2022 CFPB knows I have turned to the internet and said "Hey Everyone Look At This."
The parties all chose to lie to the US Courts to cover up them committing Major Fraud Against the United States.
The US Courts chose to ignore information.
The judges made themselves & their court accomplices to Major Fraud Against the United States.
The courts uploaded everything to the internet for the world to see.
Because of the banks greed, all the funding that was supposed to flow into the economy never happened.
They took everything to feed their greed's hunger.
I sent everything to the Biden Harris administration.
The 2022 White House informed me everything was sent to another federal agency.
I have added a copy of the response sent to me by the CFPB, CFPB Ombudsman & the 2022 White House.
I stood up because my Reps in the House & Senate wouldn't.
I can't sit by & do nothing.
- Could make official record of issue
- Supposed to fight for consumers
- Not trust worthy
- Are not genuine
- Turns its back on consumers
Preferred solution: I want the resolution mentioned in the 5 case numbers.
User's recommendation: Keep a record of everything that happens, then send copies to the White House. The CFPB not doing its job puts the entire economy in danger

Verified ReviewerIt didn't do it's job
The full details have been sent to Attorney General Merrick Garland & President Joe Biden. The CFPB has become a protective force for parties that harm consumers. When consumers file complaints with the CFPB, it may choose to do nothing at all.Which will leave consumers to fight for themselves. The CFPB choosing not to do its job is putting the entire US economy at risk.
In 2016 the White House sent information to the CFPB, cases were created. All the parties reported chose to lie to the US Courts.
In 2017 CFPB decided to close the cases without doing any investigation or holding the parties accountable.
The Federal Reserve Board was sent the full details so they could see who was doing what.
The Federal Reserve Board filed complaints.
The CFPB closed those without doing any investigation or holding the parties accountable.
The US Courts chose not to find out why the complaints were filed. Everything was then uploaded to the internet.
The CFPB needs explain why it chose not to protect the United States from being stolen from.

Verified ReviewerA complaint about Capital One Bank
The CFPB is completely worthless ! All they do is send a email to the bank stating that there is a complaint against them.
Capital One Bank issues a reply that they did nothing wrong.
CFPB accepts this reply and the case is closed . WORTHLESS SCAM !!
- That you do not do any investigation to protect the consumer
- Gives you the runaround just like everyone else
Preferred solution: Full refund

Verified ReviewerDocument everything then hand your report to Congress
The CFPB ISN'T HAPPY about this complaint being online. It also ISN'T HAPPY I gave the FULL details to Congress & the Senate.
The CFPB emailed me wanting more information. I call them up gave them the requested information.
After checking everything out the CFPB hung up on me. The CFPB is happy about this complaint being online or the fact I gave the full details to Congress & the Senate.
Congress created the CFPB after the last financial crisis to protect consumers from bad actors. It's not doing it's job.
In 2019 I gave members of Congress, the Senate & FBI the full details so they could see everything with their own eyes.
I promised to answer all questions they have. The CFPB closing complaints filed on my behalf by the 2016 White House & 2018 Federal Reserve without doing any investigation or holding banks accountable raised red flags that couldn't be ignored. The fact the CFPB not doing it's job enabled the US Courts system to be dishonored & the US economy to be defrauded also raised a huge red flags that couldn't be ignored. I hope every consumer that went to the CFPB for help and received none will have their cases reopened & they will receive justice.
My proof I gave my records to the Federal Reserve Board. They were not happy with what they saw the banks doing. The Federal Reserve filed CFPB complaints on my behalf. The CFPB chose to close the complaints without doing any investigation or holding the banks accountable.
I gave this huge red flag to Congress and the Senate.
The CFPB was created after the last financial crisis to protect consumers from bad actors. The CFPB protecting bad actors is putting the entire economy at risk.
- Protects parties that harms consumers
Preferred solution: Hold the banks accountable & make them give me all of my money.
They do nothing! It's a puppet organization
They simply send your complaint to the company. The company sends back a bunch of garbage that does nothing to address the complaint.
The CFPB is too stupid to realize its all garbage (they probably don't even read it). Then they close your case and your stuck with nothing nadda - don't waste your time and Hey Uncle Sam - Save our money and close this department DOWN!
- Complete disappointment and let down
- That you do not do any investigation to protect the consumer
CFPB does nothing useful
I complained in March of 2018, that my mortgage company, Ditech, was not giving me accurate statements of the account.
This continues. Ditech still puts out statements with the wrong interest and principal paid. Therefore, the statements are useless and they aren't complying with the laws on mortgage servicing.
That was the substance of my complaint, and the situation continues.
CFPB did nothing, still does nothing, and it's fine with me if they are dissolved.
- Fact that the cfpb is a facade
- Fact that they did not investigate my claim
- Fact that they are being paid by my tax dollars
Almost Pointless
Literally, all they do is forward your complaint to the company. As soon as the company responds—regardless of what that response is—they close the complaint.
You can then leave feedback. That's it, and their's no appeal process. They don't actually DO anything.
It's one step up from yelling at the wall. At least, you get to create a formal record of the issue.
- Could make official record of issue
- Do no evaluation or enforcement
It's another facade...
When I was fresh out of the military, I made the mistake of attending classes at ITT Technical Institute (now permanently closed). The staff of ITT did an excellent job at brainwashing me into attending their school; I should have conducted more research...alas, I digress.
During the enrollment process, multiple staff of said school prepared documents for the purpose of signing up for student loans through Sallie Mae. Unbeknownst to me, I was about to go into about $40,000 of debt as the ITT reps told me to sign document after document. When I attempted reading the book of papers that they presented me with, other staff thwarted me from the subject-at-hand and would interrupt my reading...I was unaware as to the amounts of the loans.
It wasn't until a few months later that I began seeing what a scam this school was, so I began doing some research. I found that they had violated federal rules regarding grade and attendance reporting. When I noticed that they were still conducting these practices, I began to realize that it was a scam.
I reported this to the school; I also told them that I wanted to disenroll. The administration advised me to complete my degree, so I gave it another go.
About 7 months into it, I received my student loan statements from Sallie Mae...and that is what prompted me to quit.
From then on out, I was harassed nearly every day by Sallie Mae. They would, literally, contact me over 30 times a day. They would also violate the terms of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (i.e. they would call more than twice within a 30 minute period of time, they would not identify themselves as a debt collector, they would use profane language toward me and scream at me on the phone, etc.). Sallie Mae would not even accept a minimum monthly payment of $100 from me (which I could barely afford). Their representatives told me that I owed much more and refused to work out a deal, so I refused to pay them anything.
Their harassing calls caused immense mental and physical stress that I actually changed my telephone number.
Then, I began receiving notices from Navient. Currently, Navient claims that I owe them over $35,000. Keep in mind that I have never done business with Navient.
Further, Navient cannot provide proof that I signed any sort of an agreement with them and cannot prove the debt.
I have informed the CFPB about Sallie Mae, Navient, and ITT Technical Institute. They have done absolutely nothing to help.
a. ITT has a class-action lawsuit against them. I feel that, due to what ITT has put me through AND the fact that I first-handedly was involved in their violations of federal law AND considering they have been sued before for the same issues, that the CFPB would take notice of this and investigate my claim.
By investigating my claim, they would use common sense and realize that the Sallie Mae loans that were used to pay ITT should be nullified and I should be reimbursed for the remainder AS THE REASON FOR WHICH I QUIT ITT IS THE SAME REASON FOR WHY THEY HAVE PERMANENTLY CLOSED THEIR DOORS. DUHHH.
b. Navient has also allegedly been investigated by the CFPB, but the investigators at the CFPB are derelict in their duties and are not bright enough to see that the same things that they have sued Navient for are the exact things that they have done to me.
The CFPB should no longer exist. I am a living victim of ITT and Navient, yet the CFPB is not bright enough to put two and two together. Any person with a reasonable IQ can review the documentation that I have provided the CFPB and would realize that both ITT Technical Institute AND Navient should be penalized for what they have done. I am not the only person making this claim/allegation. There are thousands of other victims, yet the CFPB would rather sit around and do nothing.
It's really quite pathetic.
- Fact that i wasted my time in providing evidence
- Fact that they did not follow up
- Fact that they did not investigate my claim

Bring Down the Morale of the Americans People
CFPB is becoming useless and that's what its director wants to feel! That way, you won't send your complaints against greedy banks and financial companies.
Don't give up as the intent is to bring down the morale of CFPB, will eventually give cause to clause it! Don't let this happen Americans People. Your Constitutional Rights are being taken bit by bit.
Solution: continue to flood the CFPB of complaints, try their Ombudsman, and again and again.
The goodwill of the workers in CFPB and the Americans will overcome this fraud call Mick Mulvaney- soon to be fired by the Americans People. The reason for termination: Gross incompetence!!!

Verified ReviewerCFPB you helped them do this
The CFPB has not contacted me at all to address this. I made sure the CFPB knows this complaint exists by faxing it directly to the CFPB.
Everytime the CFPB requests for public comment either on it's website or through the Federal Register; I remind the CFPB what it's standing by and doing nothing has done. I faxed and post mailed the full details to the CFPB Ombudsman and the current director.
I have mailed the full details to the Government Accountability Office, my rep in Congress, my rep in the Senate, the IRS and more. No branch of the United States Government can say I didn't contact it about this.
When I informed both the White House and Federal Reserve of what 5 banks did. Both filed complaints with the CFPB. The CFPB sent a message to each bank. When the bank responded the case was closed. No investigation the banks were not held accountable. This allowed the banks to use the United States Courts to try to hide what they did.
Now the United States Supreme Court has been notified of all this.
CFPB your inaction helped 5 banks defraud the United States of America. Who are you really protecting CFPB? Because it sure isn't consumers.
Useless , irrelevant and a waste of taxpayers money and time
This agency is useless. They don’t investigate or read consumer complaints.
My bank defrauded me and forged statement to conceal their costly error. I sent all the prof to CFPB . They didn’t bother reading it. For big banks and creditors, it suffice to provide an answer of any sort and the case will be close by CFPB.
Clearly , CFPB IS an enabler.
It discourages consumer from holding banks and creditors accountable for their unlawful actions. Consumers will get more justice if they post their complaints in Social media.
CFPB A COMPLETE JOKE
Now that the CFPB has a new director, who is intent on disbanding it completely at the request of Washington, D.C., it has effectively ceased to exist. It no longer protects anyone except BIG BUSINESS, banks, and the others it was designed to protect consumers interests.
It no longer does anything at all, just another smokescreen for all the TOO BIG TO FAIL banks. I am sure they are all waiting for things to crash so they can get one more government bailout at taxpayer expense.
My last two complaints went unanswered, and in the trash. These jokers waste taxpayer dollars pretending to help, but give bureaucrats a job doing nothing
- Complete waste of your time
Preferred solution: Full refund
Completely Useless
I had a lender break every rule in the book and shaft me at the end of a refinance. I reported the major violations to the CFPB and they did absolutely nothing but forward my complaint to the thieves I was complaining about. They are totally worthless and good for absolutely nothing.
If I could not get help in such a case then who could possible do so?
The refinance company , Homeplus Mortgage, changed my payout by over 10,000 dollars on the last day of the loan with no change of circumstance. They said it was because of math errors prior to closing. That is a clear TRID guidelines violation that this worthless agency is supposed to help enforce.
Homeplus also lowered the lenders credit on the final day of the loan as well, stating it was because of math errors. That is another major TRID guideline violation.
I was told by another lender to contact the CFPB and they would help me. That was the joke of the year.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution
Who is the CFPB protecting because it is not Consumers.
In 2016 every bank regulator & the White House sent my records to the CFPB. The CFPB sent a message to each bank.
When the bank gave a response, the case was closed & sent to the FTC. It didn't matter what the bank responded with, the CFPB never followed up on the response the bank gave. The FTC sent the closed case back to the CFPB because Congress granted the CFPB the authority to hold banks accountable. This circle just keeps going around & around.
Because of this CFPB to FTC to CFPB circle the banks & their lawyers decided to use the Court system to hide what had happened. This resulted in Lower Courts ignoring a United States Supreme Court decision and ruling against me for following a 1913 Act of Congress & 1933 Presidential Executive Order. I have sent the full details to my Representatives in Congress & faxed the FTC letter to Mick Mulvany. The CFPB to FTC to CFPB circle has & is causing a lot of damage to Consumers & the economy.
If you have gotten the closed case message from the CFPB your complaint may be going in a circle like mine.
You can call the FTC to find out, that is what I did. Each time my complaint goes in a circle a new CFPB case number is created.
- Send complaints in a cfpb to ftc to cfpb circle
- Are not genuine
- Makes things worse
Preferred solution: Hold the banks accountable for stealing from me then lying about it to everyone & misleading the Courts. If the CFPB had done it's job in 2016 it would have prevented all the damage the CFPB to FTC to CFPB circlde has/is causing people & the economy.

Thanks for reporting this. I now know I am not alone. Will be reporting CFPB to the state attorney of Texas - (Some one who will ACT)
Sounds very close to what they are doing with my case
